The SVP of marketing and communications must provide vision and leadership for all marketing-led initiatives for our global organization. In this role, you will drive the vision for key functional areas including marketing, communications, demand generation, and brand and marketing operations. You will report to the executive vice president of marketing. If you are successful in applying for this position, you will be responsible for setting the marketing roadmap and leading the strategic direction of marketing by evaluating and developing marketing strategies and content, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our organization’s brands across our international sales regions (North America, Latin America, the United Kingdom & Ireland, Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and South Africa).

The Ideal Candidate


To be considered for this position, you will need to have an active interest in technology and a well-developed ability to explain technical concepts in plain language. You must have proven experience in implementing lead management and other marketing-related interdepartmental processes, marketing dashboards and reporting, and at least 5+ years’ expertise in digital marketing.

The Role


You will work closely with our product and sales teams to develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new solutions, and provide support with lead generation and relevant marketing materials. You will also manage the organization and execution of company conferences, trade shows, and other major events. Ultimately, you will run our marketing department to promote higher visibility, profitability, and competitiveness. Your primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales, which you will do by successfully marketing the organization, using market research, marketing communications, advertising, and public relations.



  • Seek out new and effective ways to deliver messaging, such as mobile platforms, video, and social media
  • Funnel leads from all channels to the sales team (digital, paid search, organic, social media, outbound demand generation, inbound marketing, and content marketing), and manage and report on lead generation efforts
  • Evolve and execute our corporate brand strategy
  • Develop and oversee the execution of the organization’s marketing strategy for new and existing products and services
  • Set and administer annual marketing budgets by tracking expenditure and return-on-investment
  • Oversee the marketing department and regional marketing managers
  • Develop and communicate quarterly and annual marketing plans
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate marketing projects
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns
  • Oversee content marketing
  • Oversee the digital marketing strategy, including the corporate website
  • Oversee corporate graphics and design capabilities
  • Oversee market research
  • Create and manage the calendar of events, including webinars, conferences, and thought-leadership contributions
  • Understand and develop metrics for measuring marketing success
  • Support the product marketing team with go-to-market strategy development and execution
  • Manage PR efforts and agencies, ensuring ongoing ROI
  • Manage analysts and other stakeholder relationships
  • Implement the appropriate interdepartmental processes to maximize the efficiency of the department

Skills & Experience 


Successful candidates for this role will generally possess the following qualifications and skills:


  • A post-graduate degree in business, marketing, communications, PR, or another related field
  • 8–10 years’ recent and significant experience in a marketing leadership role
  • A minimum of 5+ years in a marketing senior leadership role for a technology company (preferably a fintech company)
  • Well-rounded B2B technology marketing experience with extensive experience in driving customer acquisition
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B SaaS marketing, digital marketing, and global lead generation, with an emphasis on new customer acquisition, measurement, and analytics
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful demand-generation programs in a high-growth company environment
  • Proven marketing campaign experience
  • Extensive experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
  • Experience in dealing with international companies
  • Availability to travel internationally
  • High competency in project- and stakeholder-management
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A professional and proactive work ethic
